Writer/Director Simon Anderson has been working in the television and film industry for over a decade -both in front and behind the camera. Most recently he has worked as a Director for the BBC, and has helped produce a number of high-profile documentariesand factual programmes. He has also been attached to the Royal Court Theatreas one of their Young Writers, and had his first short play Three Men In AShuttle produced and performed at the Soho Theatre in August 2012. Although not currently acting, his latest acting credits include: Silent Witness (BBC),Elizabeth The Virgin Queen (BBC), Irina Palm (Ipso Facto Films), Romeo & Juliet (Romeo, Nightlight Theatre Company; Junction Cambridge), and The Hothouse (Gibbs, John Thaw Theatre). Simon brings a very unique set of experience to the project, the energy and instinct of an investigative journalist, a robust understanding of the mechanics of drama from his play writing background and the sensitivity of a director who has acted extensively on screen.
